Sam recently transitioned into web development after completing a degree in Graphic Design. With a strong eye for aesthetics and a growing love for front-end code, he’s quickly become a valuable asset to the team.

A Day in the Life:
Sam starts his morning with a stand-up meeting, followed by UI/UX design tasks and prototyping for client sites. Afternoons are spent collaborating with developers to implement his designs in code, often ending the day learning React or CSS animations.

Priya Desai

Trainee Developer

Background:

Priya joined Hot Beans with a background in Computer Science and a strong interest in accessibility and inclusive design. Her passion lies in making the web usable for everyone.

  • Web Accessibility Specialist Certification
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Python

A Day in the Life:
Priya kicks off her day reviewing client feedback and updating accessibility features. She often pairs with senior developers to troubleshoot code, and spends time after lunch doing QA testing or brushing up on new tech trends.

Trainee Developer

Jordan came from a marketing background before discovering a knack for back-end development. Analytical and curious, Jordan thrives on building robust systems and solving technical puzzles.

  • Diploma in Digital Marketing
  • Backend Development Certificate (Node.js & Express)
  • Strong skills in databases and server-side scripting

A Day in the Life:
Jordan begins the day checking API logs and fixing any overnight bugs. The rest of the day is spent working on databases, setting up server logic, and reviewing code with mentors. Evenings are often filled with research or online dev meetups.
